SUN CITY, Ariz. -- Dr. Alex Roher will explore research and the link between Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease during a free lecture in Sun City.

The lecture is scheduled 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30 at the Sun Health Research Institute, 10515 W. Santa Fe Drive, Sun City.

New research reveals evidence that cardiovascular disease may greatly increase one’s risk of developing mind-destroying Alzheimer’s disease. As scientists delve further into the pathologies of cardiovascular disease and dementia, they are increasingly convinced that heart disease shares a common link to Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Roher will discuss his latest research and how to decrease the risk of Alzheimer’s and heart disease.

Call 623-832-5328 to register.
