The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Sept. 8, Grandparents Day.

Participants will be able to learn more about the disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical trial enrollment, and support programs and services. Each walker will join in a tribute ceremony to honor those afflicted with the disease.

The Portland Walk will also feature a classic car show, Kidz Zone and Care community bus parade. In addition, walkers will receive a Promise Garden Flower.

Registration is at noon and the walk begins at 2 p.m. at the Portland International Raceway[1] .
