Connected sex toy company OhMiBod[1] unveiled a new vibrator that slips into a woman's underwear and can be controlled by her partner to deliver pleasure "with complete discretion," the company says.
The company launched the new device at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, all keeping in line with the wearable technology trend. The blueMotion massager works with the help of an accompanying iOS or Android app, and vibrations can be controlled by the wearer or another user nearby.
"For some couples, the explosion of the digital age has resulted in a shift in intimacy, as many pay more attention to devices than their partners," said Suki Dunham, OhMiBod founder. "blueMotion breaks down those virtual barriers by encouraging couples to interact both physically and emotionally using technology."
The device features a Bluetooth chip inside it, meaning a partner needs to be within Bluetooth range to provide the pleasure, and the vibrator's motor responds to remote app controls, including an accelerometer, a touch screen and volume controls. Plus the blueMotion records ambient sound up to 60 seconds, meaning users can create unique vibrating patterns based on music or their own voice.
The blueMotion massager will sell for $129 and will hit the market in March, according to the company.
Other high-tech sex gadgets include the We-Vibe 3, which is designed to be worn during intercourse to stimulate both partners at the same time. It's fully waterproof, comes with a wireless charger base. Or try OhMiBod's Better Than Chocolate wireless, music-driven vibrator that pulsates to the beat when connected to an iOS device.
