The Cicero Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 68-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and went missing this morning from a motel in the west suburb.

Mincha Hurley was last seen about 7:30 a.m. today at the Shamrock Motel, 1212 S. Cicero Ave., said police.

Mincha, who is Asian-American, may not respond to her name. She speaks English, but her medical condition interferes with her ability to speak, said police. If she does speak, it would likely be in Korean.

She has long black hair, is 5 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black fur coat with a hood and glasses, and she was carrying a bag of clothes, said police.

Police said she has gone missing before and was found at Loyola University Hospital and on the north Side of Chicago. Police said she may flag down cars for a ride and may be looking for her family in Korea.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact police at (708) 652-2130.
