In recognition of World Mental Health Day, HuffPost OWN is looking back at Oprah's recent conversation with actress and devoted mental health advocate Mariel Hemingway.

Because her family has an extensive history of mental illness, addiction and suicide,[1] actress and author Mariel Hemingway has made it her life's mission to promote spiritual health with her partner, Bobby Williams. In their book, Running With Nature, [2] they say nature holds a sacred power to heal, and that by reconnecting with nature, we can reconnect with ourselves.

"So you say it's about really finding a way to live a simpler life that is in rhythm with nature," Oprah says to Hemingway and Williams in the above clip from "Super Soul Sunday"[3] on OWN. "What does that mean if I am living in the middle of, you know, Manhattan or Dallas?"

Hemingway and Williams say even in urban cities, you can find a place to be in tune with nature. "Sunrises and sunsets happen every day, everywhere," Hemingway says.

"And then how about our six doctors?" Williams adds. "Dr. Air, Dr. Sun, Dr. Water, Dr. Nutrition, Dr. Exercise and Dr. Rest. They're available 24/7."

"I love that philosophy," Oprah says.

"But you see these guys 24/7, right?" Williams says. "365 days a year."

"They're free, they're available," Hemingway adds. "And truly, that's our belief system. Not only do we believe that, we know it to be true."

"Who's more powerful than the sun, the air, and the water?" Williams asks. "And how sacred are those things if we pay attention to it? It's awareness of that."

"Well, I know, because that's why I live here," Oprah says, gesturing to her Maui retreat in Hawaii.

"Yes, exactly," Hemingway says. "But that's spirituality plugged into your real life."

"Super Soul Sunday"[4] airs Sundays at 11 a.m. ET on OWN[5] . Hemingway's autobiographical documentary, "Running From Crazy"[6] will air on OWN in early 2014.
