OTTUMWA — The Alzheimer’s Association is providing free community education for family and professional caregivers from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 24 at Indian Hills Community College.
The first hour, called “Caring for People with Dementia,” is designed to give caregivers of persons in any stage of the illness a foundational understanding of the best ways to care for those impacted as the disease progresses.
