FLINT, MI – Learn about the warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, its effects on the brain and services provided by the Alzheimer's Association at a Kidney Cancer Educational Support Group meeting Wednesday, Oct. 23.


The meeting is open to the public and scheduled to be held at Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, 302 Kensington Ave., from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Laura J. Ruhle, program coordinator for Alzheimer's Association's central Michigan region, is scheduled to speak on the topic "What is Alzheimer's? What I need to know."
