The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in locating a North Highlands man who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Pedro Garcia, 72, was last seen in the 5700 block of San Ardo Way about 6 a.m. today, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.
He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has a shaved head and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light-blue shirt, green pants, black shoes and a plaid, short-brimmed hat. He reportedly leans slightly to the side when standing or walking, due to a physical ailment.
Garcia does not speak English and easily becomes disoriented.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
