bermuda

This week's Moment of Travel Zen comes to us from Tanya Woodward[1] on the beach at the Fairmont Southhampton[2] in Bermuda.

"This picture captures a moment of perfect weather, warm water and relaxation. It was exactly what my body needed. My husband and I planned a last minute trip, to spend the 4th of July holiday abroad. With all the rain and cloudy days in Atlanta, we were in search for a change. We were chasing sunshine and found it in beautiful Bermuda."

  • L'Eventail, a waterfall in the Herisson Falls

This is a series of breathtaking waterfalls that you can see on the course of a 3 hour hike. The falls are near Doucier, in the Jura department of France. This region is famous for wine, cheese and its beautiful nature. It's a favorite vacation spot for many from people from neighboring regions of France, as well as Europeans from Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. -Rozmin Daya-Ishmukhametova

  • Snowboarders at the Portes du Soleil resort.

This is a large group of ski/snowboard resorts in the French and Swiss Alps. I love this because you can really see the beauty of the mountains and the winter sky with gathering snow storm clouds. This was taken at the top of one of the lifts, where snowboarders strap in and everyone looks at their map to determine which way they want to descend. -Rozmin Daya-Ishmukhametova

  • Mont Blanc and Saleve, taken not very far from my home in Prevessin!

Not very good quality, but it gives you some idea of the beauty of the area of France neighboring Geneva. We have the Alps mountain range on one side, and the Jura on the other. So, everywhere you look there are these gorgeous mountains. -Rozmin Daya-Ishmukhametova
