Unreal Eats[1] is Healthy Living's original video series, where we go behind calorie counts and health claims to examine what's really in the processed foods that scream loudest in our food environment.
As if parents weren't already inundated with unsolicited health advice for their kids! The recent explosion in healthy alternatives to classic kids' meals (think: organic mac & cheese or all-natural fruit snacks) can be confusing for everyone. Are the so-called healthier items actually any better for you?
For the latest Unreal Eats, we pitted kids’ classics and their healthier versions to see who fared better. And while, no, the combination of pasta and cheese will never be a nutritious complete meal, we found that the healthier items actually did fare better. Watch the video above to learn more.
