After reports of his failing health that circulated earlier this week, WSCO TV said Friday that Billy Graham's condition is improving and that he is doing much better.

Earlier in the week Franklin Graham, his son, appealed to the world to pray for his father's health. Now, Mel Graham, Billy Graham's nephew told Channel 9 that his uncle is at home, with his health improving. He reportedly ate oatmeal and a banana for breakfast in bed.

"Overall, we're encouraged he's doing great today," Mel Graham said.

When Channel 9 spoke to Franklin Graham last week, he said that his father had a respiratory infection that required hospitalization, weeks after they celebrated Graham's 95th birthday.
