Is there a heart-healthy exercise that you can do every day, even if you only have 20 minutes? According to Dr. Oz , Daytime Emmy Award winning host of "The Dr. Oz Show,[1] " the answer is yes! Even if you only have 20 minutes to squeeze in a workout on the fly, there are a few full body workout options that will do the trick. The first exercise Dr. Oz recommends are pull-ups. This simple exercise works all of the upper body muscles as well as core muscles. Plus, an added perk, according to the doctor, is that you'll be more mindful of the foods you consume the day before knowing you'll need to pull your weight -- literally -- during your next workout.
Another excellent option is doing yoga. Dr. Oz recommends the sun salutation especially, as it improves limberness, balance and strength, while simultaneously increasing your heartbeat, even if you only have 20 minutes.
