"It's tough to be fat in this world... so how do you change that?"


That's one of the questions health coach and fat acceptance activist Golda Poretsky raises in her Oct. 2 video, "How To Find The Beauty In Fat."[1] The clip is a response to a reader who commented on Poretsky's blog, Body Love Wellness[2] , asking how she can learn to view fatness -- hers and others' -- as beautiful.


Poretsky has a variety of suggestions, from looking at images of larger bodies online to treating and touching one's own fat body with love.


"One way to see the beauty in more and more people is to literally look for it," she says.
