San Luis Obispo County families can attend a free Alzheimer’s care training workshop, offered in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Month, on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Home Instead Senior Care Training Center, 180 N. Ninth St. in Grover Beach.
The CARE program incorporates a hands-on approach to help families deal with the difficult behavioral changes that often are associated with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
