DOTHAN -- A disease that impacts people around the globe gains international attention during World Alzheimer's Month.
Over 35 million are affected by Alzheimer's every year.
This month marks the second annual World Alzheimer's Month.
It's A Campaign To Raise Awareness and time for Alzheimer Groups across the world to focus on dementia care.
Those affected hope this month will show governments and health care leaders the seriousness of Alzheimers.
Alzheimer Resource Center's Georgia Brockin took care of her husband for ten years. She said her best advice is simple.
"Just take one day at a time and do the very best you can," Brockin said. "Love your loved ones and let them know that you love them. Don't ever let them know that they aren't loved just because they're sick."
