Alzheimer's conference this week

The Alzheimer's Association's 18th annual Education Conference is this week.

The conference, for professionals and those caring for a family member with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia, will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Best Western Beach Resort, 2600 Sand Dunes Drive.

Registration fees range from $45 to $60.

on state of city

Marina Mayor Bruce Delgado will speak about the state of the city at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Marina Library, 190 Seaside Circle.

Hospice Foundation

holds seminars

Hospice Foundation will hold seminars on executor and trusteeships from 5:15 to 7 p.m. on the following days and locations:

· Tuesday at the National Steinbeck Center, 1 Main St., Salinas.

· Thursday at Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay, 1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd., Seaside.

The seminars will cover the roles, responsibilities and expectations of estate executors and trustees.
