SAN JOSE -- A 78-year-old Hispanic woman with Alzheimer's disease who went missing this morning has been found safe, according to police.


Clarita Sandoval, who was last seen at 7 a.m. today at Denny's at First and Alma streets, was found at about noon and is being reunited with her family, according to police.


Police say the Alert Santa Clara County phone message system was instrumental in locating the missing woman.
