U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says while she supports a woman's right to choose, there are things to critique in the way her predecessors on the court handled Roe v. Wade.
Ginsburg, one of the most liberal members of the court, spoke Saturday at the University of Chicago Law School about the landmark vote 40 years ago establishing a nationwide right to abortion.
Ginsburg told an audience of students that the court's 1973 decision was too sweeping and gave abortion opponents a symbol and a target to "aim at relentlessly" in a campaign that has placed more and more restrictions on abortion in many states.
