Alzheimer’s disease is impacting many families in the United States, including central Nebraska with projected increases.

The Alzheimer’s Association’s 2013 Alzheimer’s disease Facts and Figures report reveals that one in three seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Today there are 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease, including more than 37,000 here in Nebraska, as well as 77,000 unpaid family or friend caregivers in Nebraska.
