Glen Campbell

Glen Campbell will visit the U.S. Special Committee on Aging on Wednesday (April 24) for a hearing about Alzheimer's. His daughter Ashley Campbell will accompany him to Washington to testify at the hearing on behalf of the family. Campbell went public with his Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2011. His wife Kim said this week that Campbell will no longer tour. However, he does have a new album, See You There, planned for a July 30 release. Campbell recorded new versions of several of his best-known songs for the project during the same sessions for his 2011 album, Ghost on the Canvas. Campbell, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, celebrated his 77th birthday on Monday.
