URBANA — A free program focusing on the warning signs of serious memory loss will be offered later this month by the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter.

The program will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. April 27, at Amber Glen, 1704 E. Amber Lane, U.

The program will also cover an overview of Alzheiemer's disease, its risk factors, diagnosis and the benefits of early detection.

Through video footage, there will be an opportunity to witness people living with fears and myths associated with dementia and hear from their family members, the organization said.

Heather Mulder, manager of education and outreach for the Alzheimer's Association chapter, will present the program and take questions afterward.

To register, call 309-662-8392.
