From posing for Dolce & Gabbana[1] to... shilling low-calorie frozen treats? That may not sound like an optimal trajectory, but we think David Gandy[2] struck gold with this gig.
The male supermodel has just landed a contract with Wheyhey Ice Cream[3] , purveyors of healthy pints that weigh in at a mere 165 calories. Gandy is such an enthusiast of the all-natural brand, he's even reportedly invested in Wheyhey[4] . Still not convinced that a low fat, gluten-free, sugar-free, "protein" ice cream is delicious? Let David do his magic.
"If you just gave it to people without telling them what it actually is, they would love it," Gandy told HuffPost UK[5] (while charmingly looking into the interviewer's eyes, we assume).
Alright, David, you convinced us. Now we just need an advert that features Gandy seductively eating Wheyhey and we're 100 percent sold. After Bradley Cooper's gig with Häagen-Dazs[6] and the dreamiest Magnum spokesmodel ever[7] , we're starting to think ice cream companies are on to us -- there's nothing we love more than beautiful men and dessert.
Here's a look at the ice cream (sans Gandy, unfortunately):
Like we said, David, ad campaign or it didn't happen:
